To get there by car:
From Hastings, turn off the A21 at the Lamberhurst/Wadhurst roundabout. Fork left to Frant/Wadhurst and at the crossroads at a large green turn left on to the B2100 to Wadhurst. After about 3 miles you go up a hill and pass a sign showing you are in Wadhurst.Take the second right turn into Turners Green Road and keep to the left fork leading to a crossroads. Sparrows Green Recreation Ground is straight in front. Turn left into South View Road and the entrance to the car park is on the right.

From Tunbridge Wells, take the A267 Eastbourne road and turn left to Wadhurst after leaving Frant. After about 4 miles, you pass the railway station on the right. Continue up the hill until you arrive at Durgates, just past a Shell petrol station on the left. Continue up a smaller hill and turn left on to the B2100 at the primary school towards Lamberhurst. Continue past a supermarket on the left and a row of houses and fork left at a butcher's shop into South View Road. Continue on past more houses until you arrive at the car park to Sparrows Green Recreation Ground on the left.

Public transport:
There are no buses that stop outside Sparrows Green Recreation Ground but buses meet some of the trains at Wadhurst railway station and stop at Durgates and at Wadhurst Fire Station. If you get off at Durgates walk up the hill to the primary school and turn left and follow the directions above - it is about a 10-minute walk. If you get off at the Fire Station, walk back to the right turn at the primary school and follow the directions above.
